Jean Jacket help

Hello!

I've had this jean jacket for a while. Probably a year. And last fall I wore it a lot...

But this time around I guess my fashion sense has changed but I just don't know what to wear with a jean jacket, pants wise.

When I wear jeans that match in color to my jean jacket... it looks... to coordinated? Now if I wear light coloured jeans then it looks dumb I guess. Any jeans and jean jacket combination looks dumb really. Jeans is basically all I wear too. I went out this one night to the gym and wore my jean jacket, I tried on all my jeans to find something that looks alright. I couldn't find a combination that worked and decided that its a late night at the gym, sweats and a jean jacket!

I'm hopeless. I really love the jean jacket. It just don't work right now...

There was a thread about this a while ago, and I replied to it with a picture of cmf looking awesome (imho) while sporting the jean jacket & jeans combo.

So maybe the trick is darker jeans, and lighter jacket?
