That's a pretty small percentage of what they sell though. I can't really see them making that move. The rest of their items are somewhat reasonably priced and pretty much corner that market.

I've never seen the Thomas Mason shirts go on sale. Is it just me, or do their shirts have fucked up collar sizes? The M has an extremely short and small collar.

The TM shirts are new, so they wouldn't be on sale so soon. I've been bugging them above adding my size.

This isn't about "style" as some cultivated, rarified sense. This is about ugly. Immediately apparent, slap-you-in-the face ugly.

I think that is what they are going for. If you got the last spring catalogue I think they were taking pre-orders on jcrew leather luggage that was going some very luxury prices. Like 1800 suitcase and 2k for a garmet bag.

I'm sure the quality is great but why would people who will shell out that kind of money for luggage buy jcrew?

Same here, I love the fit of their tailored fit shirts.

I agree. Their shirts aren't incredibly slim, but at the same time I don't feel like they're so loose that I could pass as a car salesmen. I'd have to say I'm more satisfied with their sweaters than I am their shirts though.

I have tried their sweaters before and while XS indicates a 32-34 in. chest with a 26-28 in. waist, I was really disappointed with the fit. It wasn't horrendous, but it wasn't great. Not worth the $60 I paid. And the sad thing is, even though I fit the sizing chart perfectly, this is probably how they intended it to fit. Now if only there was an XXS that I could size down to...

Yeah, they're definitely not worth the full price. I always just wait 'til they're on sale. Every sweater I've purchased from J Crew has never been more than $20.
