I just bought a J.Crew Factory Peacoat (small) in charcoal. I'm 5'7" and 155lb. It fits well overall, but the vent in the back is flaring. Does anyone have any idea why or if there's anything I can do to fix it?[IMG]

It's too tight at the hips.

Should I try sizing up or look for a coat from another company?

It's one of those cases where the chest looks OK, but the waist is a misfit. If you size up, it will change the fit of the chest area, but might fit at the waist.

I bought this for $120. I work at GAP, so I could use my employee discount on one of their peacoats. If you have any other ideas I'd welcome them. I'm trying to stay under $200 for a multi-purpose winter coat.
