1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

See, my style is similar to coldrice's and I don't think I could pull this off. I'm really, really wanting to get one (does anyone have the Nietzsche?) just to support Jay, but the colors are just not me. Again, it's too West-coast rocker, with all the soft browns and oranges and asymmetrical, loud designs. I think I have too much of a dark East-villager look: chic-nerd meets goth-folk with some bohemian added in for good measure. I guess (I just wear what I like)? I'm just wondering if anyone else is having this problem? I'm a guy who can find pieces to wear from any collection, and with these shirts I'm like, "How they hell could I integrate that?"
ah you said it well. yeah i think i have this secret unconcious desire to be goth hahahaha. that said. i have been picking up several undercover shirts lately- i always thought their designs were a bit strange, but for some reason i've been liking them a lot lately (haven't gotten anything really weird yet though).

I'm trendy and change my mind as much as much as the wind changes direction, so don't hold me to my decisions. But, I'm leaning towards Jay's "The Sky Is Falling" and "Rising Sun" shirts to wear with my older jeans. When I saw his "Fire" hoodie, I saw the thumb and pinky rings [IMG]

I love Jay's designs - very original. The Rising Sun covers the sleeve area, very much like Great China Wall's designs. I won't pay $500.00 for GCW's hoodies - I'd much rather get quality blank Spruce or Loopwheelers. Jay's shirts really fill my sweet tooth for designs that aren't limited to the chest area - especially with forum members gushing over how soft the shirts are. I can't resist [IMG] I'm a fashion whore who will bend my will to try and look good in something even if I don't know how to wear it. That's part of the fun, don't you think?

With that said, I think Jay should incorporate spillover designs like Rising Sun onto the hoodies - and go for dark, bright solid colors as an alternative to the faded line he currently works with. But he's breaking ground with those kick-butt hoodies and the micro-detailed designs on the shirts, so I'm not complaining [IMG]
