These are from Kiyo. We are still working on the fit so I'm expecting a third pair of trial shoes any day now.

Beautiful pair of shoes. Can not go wrong with either of these makers. Were I to choose one, I think I would select Kiyo versus Yuigo. Shame neither can be purchased outside of Japan.

came across a split toe from Corno Blu so you have to know (you have to know any split toe for that matter), a bit lighter color than I like but I would say at least front the top shot it's pretty faithful render of EG Dover (except maybe the toe just a bit longer than on 606)

Damn good presumption haha. Yes I know the shoe. Very close to the Dover yes. Much much cheaper as well.

I saw these at Bryceland when i was in Japan. At the time, Ethan only had his pair of samples to show me. They were very very nice! I went back a few months later hoping they would have stock to purchase but it wans't meant to be. He did mention these were on the same last as the Corno Blu Leo and should fit the same.

For reference, i wear a 8.5UK with the Corno Blue Leo and also 8.5UK with EG 606

I wear 8.5 in Leo lazyman as well, the only thing I can think of about them is they feel lighter than EG for whatever reason

I can tell you that Japanese makers are master photographers. Either the camera or angles or lighting or all of the above, they can take the same shoe and make it look brilliant.

Any time I look at the picture I had just taken of the shoe with my phone vs the studio picture, I think to myself, "I want that one!". And I own the damn shoe already ?.

I have this split toe and it is fantastic.The details and finishing are top notch (just a touch more refined than Vass IMHO) and for the price they are great value. I find them true to size as I wear 9 uk in Crockett & Jones am also a 9 in these. Here is a pic comparing it to Vass F last in case anyone is interested.. Vass is size 43. Has anyone gone to Corno Blue for any custom orders? Since these fit so well, I've been considering doing an MTO with them on this last.

A couple more pics just for fun.. I love the slight Cuban style heel. I'm not aware of any shoe with this detail below like $1500. I think Edward Green does it in the top drawer range.
