It’s an Ebony MTO with an adjusted last so pretty much bespoke. I customized every element and sent Fukuda-San my feet measurements. My feet are too large for RTW and regular MTO lasts and Fukuda-San was very flexible.

I ordered the shoes through the Armoury in NYC.

This pair is a part of a 5 pairs order I placed for my birthday, so I guess the timing was expedited because I wanted to make sure the shoes fit me well before the other four pairs are made by Fukuda-San.

From what I know, Coronavirus has not impacted Yohei Fukuda much as he is still very busy and the regular wait times are much longer.

I am trying to organize a GMTM with Fumu, he's located in Singapore but trained in Japanese, hence wanted to share the details here to see if I can gather some interests.

It'd be a GMTM (last adjustment + one pair of fitting shoe), there wouldn't be much limitation on style or anything, for everyone who joins, it will be like an individual MTM.

Some details:
Fully handmade, out-soles hemstitched 11 spi.
Fiddle-back/ beveled waist, hand-sewn, properly blind welted.
Baker insoles/ out-soles/ heels, leather stiffeners and puffs.

Leather wise:
box Calf - depending on color available through the supplier but mostly Zonta, Weinheimer or Annonay.
Museum Calf - Zonta;
Suede - Castrotino from Zonta/ Janus/ CFS
Other leather may also be possible.

Feel free to drop me a quick message if interested, and let me know about your thoughts.

I wanted to correct the stated price for the Santari hinged hollowed trees for those interested. They are available for around $225, which is much more reasonable than what they initially were. Spring loaded and hollowed around $85.
Might still be too high for some, but it is better than Lobb prices ?.
