    The basic design can’t be modified.
    Medallion and brogue may be selectable.

    I had my loafer done with seamless heel, and a different shaped slit. :)

    I wouldn't necessarily say this - Koji is pretty open to design. If you take a look at his order sheet, every one begins with the blank outlines of a shoe, so there is definitely some wiggle room there. Was there a specific model shoe you were looking for?

    Thanks for the input Jeff, I was looking at this greenish balmoral from Yohei Fukuda, going bespoke is not something within my means yet, however an MTO is still affordable and I like Koji's style as well so it's a win win.

    @fllick,

    I think that type of shoes and the details are definitely within Koji's means for MTO.

    The only thing that may be tougher is the last. Koji's lasts are part of the reason that you go to him (as well as Fukuda). He can probably try to replicate for you, but if you like the Fukuda shape, then it may be best to seek him out.

    Koji's last are also beautiful...so I don't think you would be disappointed in this matter. But reiterating what Jeff said...if Fukuda is what you want...then you should pay the price and get what you want. Koji's MTO's are nice...from the ones I've seen in person...

    And he has made some awesome wingtips...

    It would not be wise to seek Fukuda's style from Suzuki. They have very distinct style and heritage from each other. Its akin to visit a Florentine tailor for an Savile Row silhouette.

    I personally find Suzuki's style meh.

    And chances are you will deeply offend the maker who is being asked to copy someone elses work.

    Thanks for the input guys and yes I agree after thinking it through. Guess I'll save up some more and approach Fukuda in the future.

    Kind of surprised that they would use that toe shot, given the medallion is not centered on the toe. You can see it is skewed towards the outside. Still, nice shoes.

    Not sure if the medallion is biased by design. But it's not aligned with the facing either.
