    Thanks David.

I've talked to Conrad about getting RTW Ring Jacket, didn't know he'd gone MTM...

FYI, Ring MTM costs significantly more (30% or so, if I recall correctly) than their RTW collection, and none of the 'Ring Exclusive' fabrics are available.

Aside from Hide Fukaya, there are quite a few Japanese shoemakers currently working in Florence. Very few have taken steps to open their own shop (in Italy), and here is one.

    La Calzolaia (Shoko Matsuoka)
Ms. Matsuoka did her apprenticeship at Maninna, and opened her store earlier this year.

With End of Year parties coming up, local shoeshiners are the busiest this time of the year.

Thanks. They had a nice selection of textured leathers in green/olive (including green hippo), but I went for the llama again.

¥24K JPY (~ $240 USD) upcharge for llama skin. Not so terrible

I'm jelly, not usually a fan of slip ons but they look fantastic.

That is one of the more beautiful shoes I've ever seen and I normally really am not a fan of green.

    Thanks fellas! :fonz:
Yeah, it is an unusual shade of green, but it came out surprisingly good on loafers. Kudos to Spigola for pulling it off.
