You can put your foot ON the bag, with the bag served to smooth things up between your heel and the back of the shaft, then pull the bag out, intact. Doesn't even need to be a bag, could just be a folded sheet of 1.5mil HDPE or LLDPE or the compostable equivalent.

You can also put your foot in the plastic bag, slide your foot into the engineer boot, then rip the bag out. Works really well with cheap grocery bags but not sturdier bags (like from target).

Benzein Side Zip and High Jodphur

Boots are not made in japan but the materials are all japanese. Even nails and threads are from japan on these 2 pairs

I provided all the materials and Benzein made them to my specs without even missing one thing. Huge thanks to Benzein for the incredible work!

I'm (again) interested in the RDT Casper. I've read that one should choose anywhere from 1 to 1.5 to 2 sizes down from Brannock device size. I'd love to hear from people who might have tried them on. I'm a 10.5, C width on Brannock for what it's worth, and I generally wear size 8.5 on UK-sized shoes (E. Green, Paraboots) ... Thank you.

FWIW,
I am a 10.5 D/E on the left and 11D on the right (H2B)

I took a 9.5 in the Roots and can wear with thin socks, but isn’t an ideal fit for me.

for length comparison purposes, here is a side by side with a size 10 Viberg 2030. I can almost guarantee length will be the same as Viberg (ie 9.5 Roots = 9.5 2030 Viberg)

my honest assessment would be half down, NO MORE than 1 down.

On that note, does anyone want a 9.5 in the roots for 850.00 NET to me? New with box
Looking to pick up a 10 in these.

Anyone happen to know or understand the sizing? The size chart mentioning RW, JL and Viberg doesn't make sense.

I would probably try to contact him on IG or via email. The letterman line of boots is relatively newer since he doesn’t really do RTW as much as his custom work.

I own the Lofgren engineer boots and the RDT Coupen. The Coupen fits like a perfect sized sneaker while the Lofgren -in the same size- fits like a tight sneaker that stretches out, or that you get used to. I don't know if that helps.

Yes, via Zen Market.

You can place an order with @StrangeJeremy for what amounts to about the same amount of money. Only difference is special orders through Standard & Strange take a bit longer.
