My Roughout Yeager are squeaky in the beginning. On video it sounds as my bones are rusted or my parquet is breaking. But it’s because the leather upper is inside and the feet squeaks on it when walking. Will go away with wear.

Best fitting boots ever!! This CN-S last is perfect for slimmer feet.

If you pop a tennis ball in there to take up some space, the squeaking will go away.

I'm quitting my job to work in your shop.

Too many perks at S&S for you to quit. I lived in Willow Glen and I don't know how a lot of folks can afford it these days. BTW - You might want to carry some of these sandals for the summer. Sizing is difficult, there is a lot of toe room but if you get the sizing right they are really really comfortable. The leather moves around when you walk so it sounds like mice are ******* under your feet until you break them in. If you do get some of these in stock you might want to look for Real McCoy togas. I'm certain they would be period true.

After using my usual VSC and not being impressed with the result, I decided to be reckless and condition my Attractions with a couple products I haven't used before. Followed Vintage Engineer Boots' process and used Pecard's boot oil and Antique Leather Dressing. I probably should have worn them for another few months or so before doing it but decided to go ahead and do it now. Didn't really care if they got darkened or not but they have ended up fairly close to where they were originally. The first and last pic on the blue table can serve as a before/after. The 2nd picture is post-boot oil and the fourth is post leather dressing.

I'm fairly pleased with the result though I was hoping that it would allow me to give these a bit more of a shine. Anyone have tips on that? Would love for them to look like this pair.

That pair you lineekd as an example might be a steerhide pair which is naturally a touch more shiny. If you want to add a shine you might have luck with saphirs natural waxes or a product link saphirs renovatuer and then a lot of brushing. Both of those could be used successfully to add shine. The reno being the easier of the two to achieve a shine with.

How is the Rolling Dub Trio Coupen/Stan/Casper last as far as width in the forefoot, compared to, say, the Viberg 2030?

How much of a pain are engineer boots to put on/take off? Anything I should know about break in period or other inconveniences?

Best to try on a new pair, from that point they only get easier. Can't speak for other brands but John Lofgrens don't require any real break in at all. I have 2 pair I wear daily.
