Return those Clinch boots buddy. Looks like a one off seconds pair.

Indonesian makers are finished better and 3x cheaper.
Unfortunately it’s seems no way for me to return these, they insist these boots are fine.. definitely will think twice next time when buying expensive boots..
btw what Indonesian makers are you referring to? Could you tell me more? Thanks

If they were worn there’s a case for not accepting return. But if they are not worn and they insist on keeping your money. If were you I would look into credit charge back. But you do you.

Start with this baller boot maker

How did you pay for them? Credit cards offer buyer protection.

I don't understand the push to return them.

This is what was purchased:

And this is from Brass on what they look like:

This is how these boots are designed. The cost is because of hand sewing required for the MR last. There are some lacing techniques that can help a little. I believe Kingsleyy916 has gotten a good pair of boots and doesn't need to return them.

Good eye. They are misaligned in the product photos.

Poncho & Lefty shows them aligned so it’s something that Clinch is able to do

Thanks for posting the photo and the link. It was interesting to see how these were presented.

Neither boot in the P&L photo is perfectly aligned. Unfortunately the photo is at a weird angle and they never give a clear shot of the boot on the right side. Look at the lace on the bottom of the right boot, it's not straight and a similar angle as the picture I posted from Brass, just not as pronounced. So it is not clear to someone buying the boot how the vamp will be aligned.

This is a closer look at my Yeagers and how they are angled:

IMG_1909.jpg

Lofgren Monkey boots are also at the same angle I have in the Yeagers. In some sales photos they look aligned and in others you can see how they are angled.

Even some of my Vibergs didn't line up out of the box.

I have a lot of examples of this in my boots, so I wasn't surprised to see it. I also have examples where its straight. IMO wear the hell out these Grahams and enjoy them.

Thank you. I’m not a Instagram regular, from the images provided by the Brass Tokyo official cite, I can see their boots was fine. Again, apologies for my bad English, but I am not expecting “ perfect” aligned. Anyway I toke some images.
Just wanna show for me they are more than just imperfect. P4-7 are my Cheaney boots, their shared a similar style, but Cheaney were much cheaper and much “aligned” than Clinchs. Yes I agree that hand sewing is pricey, so I wonder which one is harder? Hand sewing or make the vamp aligned?
P.s I started wearing them yesterday, since it’s not going to be return or exchange. So yea wear the hell out these Grahams and enjoy them.:p:p

Like this, I already tried to push the right side and pull the left side when I lacing them, if you can understand what I mean? And this reminds me another shoe I bought very long time ago, a pair of Alden 379x last dress shoes. Those were manufacture seconds due to the vamp aligned issue. I bought those because this last is hard to find those days.

Those should have been returned. That looks pretty bad for a new pair. Even Brass Tokyo doesn’t show that much variation.

Out of curiosity, what was the reason you couldn't return? Already worn, outside return window, other?
