Great pictures! I just got back last week from Japan (Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka). Sakura were ending in Tokyo but still decent bloom in Kyoto. The weather looked much nicer when you were there. It was largely overcast and occasionally rainy on our trip.

Just came back from my trip around Fukuoka, Beppu, Hiroshima (side-trip to Miyajima as well), and Nagasaki!

Delicious food and fruit of the street. I basically ate everything I saw that looked good, which was basically everything (couldn’t stop eating strawberries)

I didn't take many street food pics but just a sampling of what we ate. I especially enjoyed the japanese breakfast.

Loving the pics, thanks for sharing. We never tried the expensive fruit, but how good was it? Worth it?

This was really cool. I was in Tokyo on my birthday (March 25th) at this caviar house in Tokyu Plaza, and the gentlemen sitting across from me too was born the same day! His wife invited me and we ended up going out to dinner that night and celebrating our birthdays together!

While I appreciate having seen sakura I doubt I'll go again during the season. Too darn crowded, at least in the major cities.

Amazing. I did not find it overly crowded while I was there, and I think the Sakura are definitely worth braving the crowds!

It certainly is hard not to like Japan.
