worn twice around the house. still stiff and basically brand new aside from some light creasing. no indigo loss at all. never soaked/washed/or hemmed. still have the original tags. purchased from blue owl which does not stock this model anymore. i wear a 32 in most jeans and these fit great. please note the exact measurements as these fit slightly larger than the 31 waist tag suggests. these will probably shrink about .5" in length after washing. one of the slimmest japan blue/momotaro fits.

Japan Blue is a new concept by fabric maker Collect, Co, LTD. Collect is the same fabric manufacture behind Momotaro denim and has a deep routed tradition of denim making in Kojima, Okayama.
* Japan Blue's "tapered" denim fit is slim in the top block, has a medium rise, enough room in the thigh to be comfortable, and begins to taper from the upper thigh all the way to the leg opening.
* "Going to Battle" stripes are a symbol of Japanese tradition representing honor and strength. The warrior stripes also represent the flag carried by "Momotaro" in the original folklore story.
