I thought there was a note about the Johnny cash's being inspired by a pair of sunglasses worn by a prisoner during one of his performances. Aside from the opinion of liking them or not, if be curious just to see those. Anyone happen to have an image or maybe could correct my misunderstand over their inspiration?

They are quite a bit different. Hickory is much more brown/orange less red. Root beer is more red/orange with little brown. Both nice colors, but I find hickory a bit more wearable.

Agree, I have two pairs in london (Yves and William) - it’s an interesting brown that’s also extremely wearable. London and taupe are probably my favorite colorways

We seem to like the same colourways: London and Taupe are among my favourites as well.

Besides, as I already said, I like all brown shades, including the havanas and the tortoise shell patterns. I also like the yellow/orange tints, as long as they are dull and muted, not full and bright. I also like muted green colours as Army and Volvox.

On the contrary reds and blues do nothing for me.

I tried on Jeff Argyle a long time ago in the store and never pulled the trigger. My OCD brain just kept going back to those, nothing felt as good. Just ordered a pair from visionary optics. Took them to JMM in LA and had them throw some lenses in them. Thanks everyone for the help / advice. First pair of JMMs.
