Seeing the Shozo for the first time - actually quite intrigued by them in camel. Has anyone tried these on, or are there available fit pics anywhere online?

Looks like a slightly less angular version of the Domoto, which D4 posted here.

I like the frames but wish they didn't have spring hinges.

I tried the Shozo, which is a round version of the Domoto. It is a very cool pair, but did not care for the fit. I prefer the shape of the Domoto in any event.

I have a pair of JMM frames with spring hinges or whatever they are called. The hinges function well and make absolutely no difference.

Managed to get a hold of the Enzo in Granite (Limited to 50). Wanted to go Shadow or Noir initially for versatility but the slightly darker marble compared to Agar/Havanna should work just fine with most outfits. Should receive them this week.

Yea its a really unique colour. For me it was a great option as I wanted the versatility of some black shades with some added pop. The Enzo Granite were part of a limited collab with a german distributor: https://www.leidmann.com/products/j...leidmann-granite?_pos=18&_sid=3e17f6f9a&_ss=r

The more I see these I think I need to jump on them. Really unique.

In hand, would you say they still look like a dark Havana, or black with the granite giving some lighter tones?

I just got the Taos in black as an optical pair and they are so great.
Domoto as well but have to wait another week or two (excited)
Love oversized frames and i don't even care about the optical distortion - haha

I just received my first pair of JMM's from Seen opticians in Manchester and am so disappointed. I bought the Torino in Tempest. I asked if they had a box-fresh pair and they said that they had two pairs, one of which was box-fresh but that my order would be delayed. I said this was fine.

When I opened them today I found scratches all along the inside of one of the arms, speaking of the arms - they are so loose that they rattle, also if you push slightly on the frames you can feel and hear the lenses pop within them, the certificate of authenticity was missing (I'm assuming if they have another pair that they have no idea which certificate goes with which pair), and their website advertises that they come with a hard case but they arrived in a soft case. Finally, there is what appears to be makeup/dirt caught in the corrugated plastic at the end of the arms.

Some of you may think this is all nit-picky, but £590 is such a lot of money for me to drop on a pair of sunglasses. The rattling arms and lenses really bother me. I get that I can tighten the screws in the arms but that's not the point. I'm assuming that rattling arms and lenses is not normal in terms of JMM's arriving brand new?

Sounds like they definitely didnt give you a fresh pair. If you’re unhappy I would just return and buy elsewhere.

The certificate is numbered and will match the number on your frames but I would personally return based on it being missing.

Thank you for this. I want to return them for sure. The issue is that I can't find the Torino in Tempest anywhere else. I feel so gutted that this is my first experience buying JMM's. I was so excited to get a pair
