It's slightllyyy annoying that so many online dealers have more stringent return policies than clothing retailers. Clothing retailers are typically free shipping and free returns within 30 days. Eyewear retailers are typically 15 days. And apparently, GoodSee charges a 9% stocking fee on orders over $1,000, which basically means two JMM frames.

So, in that spirit, I have to choose between one of these two colors. I wanted to try both to see which I like most, but don't want to pay $108 if things don't work out and I have to make a return.

Between these two, does anyone have strong feelings on which would be better? FWIW, the size is 48, if that gives you an idea of the scale.

Thanks. When I put the Montana on, I felt like I was wearing an oversized Persol 649. Don't think I have the features (nor the confidence) to pull it off.

The "taupe" looks like a smokey grey in the pic. I love that, and something like that is on my list along with a rover type green.
Those look like they could be the unicorn that goes with black/grey outfits, and everything else.
With the exception of some of Regis' stuff...

Back on the conversation of cases. I have the three ones JMM do, but would like a quality 'beater' one I can use day to day, as I feel the resell value is dimished if I use the others out of the house.

I have one that works well for my Seberg and Scarpa, but is too tight for the acetate frames that they go wonky.

Any suggestions for Japanese made leather ones etc?

Taupe would be a little insipid for me, too unnoticeable, but depends on complexion, what kind of look you want to project.
it’s interesting that Goodsee are showing this model in a Havana colour, not shown on JMM website...... that Would be my pick.......

whatever you decide, I’d like to see you wearing these as they have good potential

Probably taupe, because I find Noir to be limiting.

looksie optometry and opt optometric both have big stock. There are 2 more stock lists but I forget the names

These are all pre-orders and I've already put my money down. I might switch my order from noir to taupe.
