Same here. I tried a few on and I’m leaning towards shadow and the grey one (can’t remember the name) but I’m a bit put off by the ‘dark purple’ lenses which I doubt are dark enough for me which is why I was asking upthread. I tried them on in a shop in a mall which didn’t give me the chance to step outside and see how they were in direct sunlight.
In my case, I would replace the lenses with either prescription transition or optical.

I have tried on the Molinos at a couple of shops and in both cases, the salesperson has preferred something else for me. Undecided and really only looking for one pair (at least that is the plan).

When I look at the Molino, Torino, Fitz, Enzo, etc, I find that the 2 visual cues that I notice the most are (1) how much the temple attachment part protrudes from the side of the front of the frames (e.g., more on the Molino than Torino), and (2) how elongated they are (e.g., Molino are more elongated than the Torino and the Torino are more elongated than the Enzo).

I prefer the tamer models, but if I had to pick one only it'd either be the Dealan or the Fellini.

They're pretty versatile & aren't as jarring as the other frames, but their unique shape in conjunction with the chunky acetate makes them stand out still.

Regarding the Buffalo color way, I found them underwhelming/dull

I like the Molino but did find them very pedestrian in comparison. So I stuck with Dealan, but they always slip down my nose. So I’m trying to sell those (if anybody is interested) and replace them with molino.

I'm kind of limited by bridge size, and most of what else I tried on slid down my face too.
The Molinos are one of his narrowest, luckily I really like them...

Is it OK to post brands in here that feel JMM adjacent?

Recently discovered Haffmans & Neumeister. They're kinda minimalist, kinda avant-garde, kinda "Antwerp" designer-y. But some models also seem slightly sleazy in the JMM way

The Nolan model caught my eye, in particular. Size is 55mm, so oversized like JMM. But made from thin metal and probably more comfortable than thick acetate. I can imagine these with slim black jeans and a black leather jacket.

Lol, I thought "man, this guy looks like my friend" and now I see it's him and other people from my town. It was shot in Tito's villa on Bled, Slovenia :). Wouldn't know if it wasn't for this post.

Hello all,
Just thought I’d give a thanks to the boys on this forum that have brought me joy laughs and great info! As a cancer survivor I have a supreme appreciation for the small stuff that life tends to overlook. I’m giving away a worn once super mint pair of Torino’s in the Tempest colorway. All I ask in return is that the person who gets them do something small for someone. I’m not going to check up on you so I’ll trust / hope that you come through. Any small act that would put a smile or a fuzzy feeling on someone. Maybe picking up dessert for a nice young couple you see at a restaurant or bringing food to a food bank, picking up the grocery tab for someone etc what ever your heart steers you to do. Just pick a number from 1 to 100 you can pist number hear if no one is opposed or just pm me. If multiple pick the correct number I’ll ask for another number. I’ll wait till midnight tomorrow so my west coast boyz can get in on the fun.
peace and love
