True story: A really good e-friend of mine usually takes pics looking straight at a closeup camera. I saw him in person and said "Just so you know, if you must look into the camera, look far into the distance, and it'll help prevent you from looking cross-eyed." He took off his sunglasses and looked me square (or actually, not so square) in the eyes and said "I have an astigmatism, so sometimes my eyes are crossed."

True story: There’s a guitar player with a lazy eye called Pete Thorn who’s toured with a few famous bands, and upon going to Eddie Van Halen’s house and meeting EVH, Eddie looks at him straight away and says “which one should I look at?”

I recently went through the stacks of guitar mags that I kept from my youth, all from 97-08ish. About a third of them had EVH on the cover, and in half of those, he looked like he was wearing early JMM prototypes.
