Trying to get a sense of the color of the altan titanium - different pictures show different levels of gold. Is this more white gold, silver gold, or yellow gold?

The pictures reflect the fact that it changes a lot with the light. It goes from rose gold to yellow gold I would say.

Very different in real life. Have them both.

Yeah, I kept them. Considering either getting a pair of 1980's or maybe swapping out the Quentin lenses for daily readers.

i think the Quentin in hickory fade would look better either as opticals or some different color. I think that sea green color really doesn’t work with the fade

Since we’re on about JMM adjacent shades does anyone know ANY brand that does a chunky aqua blue frame?

C&G 1386 has a couple of nice blues on offer.

Actually I like the combination with the Grove lenses, but perhaps the combination with brown ones, like in the Sterett, is even better.

I like the brown on the Steretts much better.

Nice - how do they work as opticals?

A bit similar as when you see the stock lenses in direct sunlight because the tint is not very dark. A bit heavy to daily it as the frame is quite voluminous.
