They told me about it but sadly I couldn't get away from work to check it out....did Stephen have any new models to show other than what's about to come out?
I am trying to remember. Mostly new colorways for existing frames (Zephrin, Vendome, Dealan, etc.) I tried on a Wesley (too large). They had some women's frames that might have been new (Peretti?), but I didn't check too closely. The metal frames included some aviators that seemed new to me. One pair resembled the old Hunter S. Thompson aviators with the small circle between the lens.

Do you remember what general colors they had for the Vendome?

Aaargh. I should have taken pictures. I have Vendome in Camel, and I recall the Vendomes on offer were darker and less appealing to me compared to Camel. Next time I attend a pop up, I will do a better job of documenting.

This thread has created a crippling addiction. I'm up to nine frames in the space of a year with three more on the way.

I really wish they released the Yves in a smaller size. The inspiration model on Yves Saint Laurent always looks very well proportioned, but the JMM version seems huge in comparison.

It's one of the few models in which I think the original is much better than the reinterpretation.

You're absolutely right. I stated that always Jerome's reinterpretations look better than the inspirations: not in this case.

As I see, the Saint better captures Saint Laurent's aesthetics. Ideally would like to see something in between.
