Round 2 Bathroom fit:

Fellini in hickory. They are crushing my temples but that’s an ez fix. It’s such a relief having 150mm arms, much less adjustment needed for my watermelon. Hickory is a beautiful color way. Thoughts on the bridge gap? It’s a slight peeve but acceptable, it’s generally why I prefer keyholes.

The previously posted percier with a quick coloring in to mock up sunglasses I honestly think the jax would make better rx for me, and the percier become Sunnies. I think Jax soft square actually has less surface area to minimize distortion for my -8 rx.

I have a pair of Taos in noir 4 coming from hoppergoods to see the fit, But I’m pretty happy with my current range (Jax/fellini/percier) with no overlaps in color.
*edit: different lighting/angle for fellini for my benefit

I genuinely like the Fellini's on you and the colour is rich and classy. Maybe take them to a trusted optometrist to see whether anything can be done to make the nose bridge comfortable. The Percier is a cool effortless vibe on you too. I have the Jax in spectacles and i love them! If you love the Fellini's keep them!

JAX as RX, Fellini look good, no one will notice the bridge gap, but if it feels uncomfortable or you’re aware of it maybe move them on, but as I say they look good n you.

Have received my Fellinis in hickory. They are really great, however I will return them as I have similar models and colours (prefer my Molinos 55 too).

The bridge is pretty comfortable I just have a wide schnoz. It’s the only pair so far where the gap is barely there, almost all other jmm have a steeper slope at the nose making it significantly noticeable, at least to me. I’d say the twelvesixtynine dude and I have almost identical noses, you can see it on all the frames he models as well.

Framed ewe is the last/only jmm vendor in phx so they do the tweaks although I am mad enough to do it myself with a hair dryer. I’ve adjusted at least 30 frames myself so I’m not really hesitant, jmm is just way thicker and takes a bit more patience.

jax in a black or gray will definitely be my next rx, should be a nice compliment to my tiny round tortoise windsors from salt. so far the Jax is the only frame I’ll buy multiples of.

Fair. I added one extra angle and slightly different resting position for fellini, I’m curious why it’s not a good match to you?

the percier are actually going back they are misaligned at the right hinge and the temple arms just feel strange compared to my Jax.

the different angle make Fellini look better IMO

If you decide to go with the Jax in noir, I believe @whorishconsumer is looking to sell his.

Hi, is there anyone that has a pair of metal frames? I am curious to hear on their quality. I have got a pair of Brion but I am personally not as impressed as with their acetate. I would be interested in Reynolds as well, if someone has a pic wearing them.

1269 - great to deal with and offers returns, although you do pay for return shipping. Matches as well, I think - less selection and probably not as knowledgable, but I think you do get free returns there.

I live in the US. I have purchased directly from JMM as well as Black Optical. Both have great service and free shipping/returns. 1269 has great service but you pay for returns. Note that JMM only sells sunglasses online. Maybe the new brick and mortar store will ship optical frames if contacted. Hope this helps.

I just received my Dark Havana Fellini and Reserve Enzo back after having warranty service done. Both had loose bolts that connected the hinges to the temples (I believe this was discussed here a few weeks ago).

If you’re having any issues and you’re within the one-year purchase timeframe from an authorized dealer, it’s worth checking out. The Enzo took a little over two weeks to be returned after I sent it, and the Fellini about five weeks.

I did the same. Sent my Havana Fellini to JMM. When I was emailing back and forth, I asked if they got similar inquiries about loose hinges and they said no inquiries for this specific frame. ?‍♂️ It’s been a couple of weeks plus. Not in a rush to get them back tho. They fix them up nice and tight?
