You should email or call them. Nobody on the forum has done more to hype the brand than you have, which I kinda hate you for tbh.
yeah I’ll try and call after lunch.
I can’t be the hype leader here though. I have one pair and limited knowledge. Hanto and Regis are carrying this

I really like the Sturges, but I think it's something I have to try on.

When I bought the Taos (which just arrived) and the Fellini first thing I did was scroll down to make sure the little head said 'wide' some of the small framed I love but just looking at the numbers and head shapes I'm like sigh, nope...next. But really those are great, nice buy.

Cheers. I should not be thinking about these at all but I think the Laramie would work best for me. So tempted by the Havana or Reserve.
I'm thinking I'm gonna cave in and try a pair of these but I'll have to make it to a dealer to try on to be certain. The differences in some of the styles I'm liking seem very subtle based on the pics on the JMM webpage. I'm leaning maybe towards the Dealan, but also like the Fitzgerald and the Molino. Any recs for another 'safe' type style to look at?
Here’s my opinion for what it’s worth.
I think youre wise to want to try them on. First - like hats - it doesn’t matter how cool they may look in web pics you have to try them on to see if they suit you. As you guessed they do a plethora of styles and what you think is ‘your’ style from pics might not look so good on your face.
Second, while part of the attraction is the ‘trade mark’ thick acetate (I’m not interested in the wire rim styles) - it makes for a very bold look. I finally got to try some on yesterday in two shops in the Boca Raton area as I was near there for work. I was leaning towards those tasty Deleans but even in a conservative colourway they look very ‘heavy’ on the face. The Felinis, Enzos and Molinis even moreso and the Yves? Forget about it.
If you’re going for the Robert de Niro look from ‘Casino’ you’re in luck, but it’s not for me.

Also shop around. The A/S Deleans I tried in Visual Eyes were $800. The exact same pair in Victor Beiber in the Glades mall five miles away were $600.
I was about to sack the whole thing off. Come on and think about it lads. You can get quality sunglasses for $100. There was even a Warby Parker in the mall with some decent looking not-Luxottica shades. If you’re gonna spring for five times that or more they better be damn near freakin’ perfect, right? As I was walking out of Victor Bieber I tried on some Fitzgerald’s.They had clear glass in them so I had to use my imagination a bit to avoid the Austin Powers / Melvin Belvin look but they hit the sweet spot for me. Just slightly exotic enough to look a step different from Wayfarers without the Ace Rothstein heaviness so that’s what I’ll pursue.
YMMV but good luck on your mission!

@Thin White Duke Thanks for the response. I’m in nyc so I believe I saw there was a couple places I can potentially go to try in person. I can agree that some of the bolder styles wouldn’t be for me, so I’m hoping to find some middle ground hopefully.

Totally agree! Trying them on is key, either in a shop nearby (ha!) or just order a bunch from the JMM online shop and return all or what ever you don't like or doesn't fit

.... Yves? Forget about it.

I think they are literally going for the Yves, as in YSL look :)
