This is a screenshot from one of the decade videos on their Instagram account. I think these look cool, but this version of the frame isn’t available. I’m wondering if it’s the original version of Windsor?

The engraving in top right points to it being the Decade collection. Maybe a prototype?
Thought looking at the website, he is supposedly just wearing the black ones.

It looks pretty much like this in my eyes. Possibly a prototype with hidden wirecore.

Some questionable choices in my opinion, Windsor and Jules, two pretty irrelevant models in primis. Borodino is certainly emblematic but was not a very successful model as well. It had been more interesting to have the Saint instead of the Yves.

I jumped quick thinking they would sell out like some other releases but maybe the hype really is dying down a bit. I know most would be turned away by the price alone these days. Plus I don’t think the market is what it used to be for the resell types

They are hyperexclusive editions, but overpriced and not so attractive to make a purchase absolutely mandatory, in my opinion. A lot of other options available by now.

I think Yves was simply a more popular frame and seller than the Saint so you'd have to assume the frame choices were based on that. I'm just surprised they didn't run with Fellini instead of the Jules.

Of all the options available, the Walker Decade, Rover or Empire would get my money...but whoah, whoahhhh no no no way am I shelling out that much for those. Insanity!!!

Countless iterations of the Yves already, hence my remark. The Saint was pretty soon discontinued, so, who knows, perhaps it would have been more popular otherwise. I most probably would buy a new release of it. Fellini has had many variations as well, even though not as many as Dealan, but the latter seems to be their most iconic model (I prefer by far the Fellini).

And yes, it's a no for me too.

Countless iterations I agree, and that's the whole point, or rather not the point. Jerome's not sitting there on a hunch saying to himself, perhaps the Saint will be popular, he is looking at the historical sales figures, and that's all that matters to him. It's not smart business acumen taking risk on a frame that wasn't so popular – especially for such a prestigeous release as this one. It's marketing 101 ;)

I see your point, but Windsor and Jules were probably even less popular.

Wow. Just…wow! Yeah so no. I know I’ve been off the bulletin board for a hot minute dealing with some HOA (home owners association) drama, but I have to say that I am abso-frickin-lutely appalled by this release! The frames are wicked rad, but the prices are offensive! This is the direct result of all the Hollywierd folx, the music people, those ding dang sports fellers, and those whipper snappers who call themselves “influencers”! They are disgustingly rich, so they buy anything they want without regard to price. Everywhere I look now on the boob tube, I see JMM (Jacques Marie Mage) frames. They have driven the popularity and the prices through the roof such that people like me, right, who have been long term loyal fans can’t even afford them anymore!! I purchased my first pair of JMMs (Jacques Marie Mage) way back at oh about page one of this here electronic bulletin board and now I can’t even get my grail bordolino frames because they’re 2200 semoleons!! NOT OK! I haven’t purchased a new release full price frame in oh about 2 or maybe 2.5 or 3 years now.

Second point. The price of these here particular frames CANNOT be justified. It seems to me, right, that they jacked up the price because it’s an anniversary and because they included some ding dang fancy packing. The packaging probably hiked the price, right, by about $700-800. Keep the packing and sell me the frame only.

I’m at my wits end with all this. I’ve been getting caught up on the electronic bulletin board action that has happened since I’ve been away, and there has been a definite shift in here to my way of thinking. I’m not surprised—I’m usually ahead of the trend by a year or two or maybe more.

Well…anyway. I had to get that off my chest. Thanks for listening. I’ll try to drop in more frequently if I can my friends.
