many thanks Cold for the pics, I think they all work for you, the Moscova are surprisingly good, they don’t look as good when you see them unworn. The William are up my alley for sure.

thanks again

A few pics of frames I tried on today. Looking for a daily optical frame. Thoughts?

JMM William in Havana. I think these would make a great all day optical, titanium temples. Ideally would like them in the London color.

JMM Moscova Hickory. Nothing special. Fit seems right.

Vintage USS frames, matte black. They came in a size smaller that were less raised at the front ends. Kind of liked the smaller size, forgot to take a pic.

Vintage American Optical frames, glossy black. Wayfarer type frame. Not sure they would be a good optical.

The Moscova is the winner for me.

I've also been considering the William in London for my computer frames. Very similar style to my current Dita Buckeye (which I've had for years) with the titanium temples, but the William has a much chunkier front end. The detail in the temples is a nice touch.

Apologies in advance because I’m sure this has been asked a million times but the search function didn’t help. Is it possible to swap lenses at home without heating up the acetate? I’m not overly concerned about the lenses but I’m definitely concerned about the frames.

Are you a member of Aroma's FB BST group? One of the mods posted a short video tutorial on how to "cold snap" JMM lenses, as long as they're not the Last Frontier or any other JMM frame that uses glass lenses

Agreed. I can see paying premium for a newly released frame that has been long discontinued, like the Borodino. Otherwise, the higher prices, weekly releases, and complete lack of interest in the new frames overall are making me look elsewhere.

I’m looking at getting a William for everyday optical frames. Even so, many independent brands have a similar design/look for much less, and might even fit better.

That said, the 10 year releases are supposedly being released soon. We’ll see what’s new.
I have the same sentiment, I've took a break from JMM and went to look at Chrome Hearts instead. Despite their bold and over the top decor, there are still some models that looks more mature and delicate.
