Very fond of the new Saffron colourway, looks like a more muted Honey.

Anyone have any experience putting high index RX lenses on a pair of titanium frames? I was trying to use up my yearly insurance for RX lenses and I wanted to get a pair of Bresson or Melvilles. I didn't really have qualms with just getting it to my Optometrist and having them have a crack at it since they put high index RX lenses on a pair of Torinos I had already but the JMM rep I was talking to makes it sound like only their authorized dealers can actually work with the titanium frames. How much of that is true? The only JMM approved dealer in my area doesn't take any insurance and it's not really worth filling out an out-of-network claim if I just decide to go with them, plus the store is like 2 hours away from me lol.

Any particular differences between the Caan and the Molitor? I’d imagine there are some, however subtle

Although the top line reminds of that on the Caan, I see more a resemblance with the Fontainebleau.

Does anyone know what this one is? It was in a promo email from November. Thought it might be LF but just a guess.

I know a couple big retailers in SoCal who don't carry LF, I assume due to geographical proximity to the JMM boutiques. I remember the Edward Beiner by me had some LF frames years ago, but didn't keep them on display. They only brought them out in a trunk after I chatted with them for a while.
JMM must figure that due to the lower number of units they can keep most of the sales in-house.
Ever find out what these are?

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
