Frankly, I don't see a major issue, but if it bothers you, you should better return them. Have you already contacted the seller? Is a replacement available?
No, I wanted to hear the opinion of an OG first, because im still so new to the game. If i return them theres only one other pair of Molino hickory fade available in EU, which could have even worse QC for all i know, so i will probably keep them.

On another note: whats your opinion on the hinges not being 100% cleanly placed into the acetate? I have it only on my Enzos and the new Molinos have it to some extent too. For my Challengers and Vendome its 100% perfect.

This also falls into the category " small flaws", not a deal breaker for me.

I have my Vendome Camel where the acetate surface doesn't look perfectly even on one side, for example.

You have to keep in mind that these are handmade objects, so some imperfections should be taken into account. Misaligned temples or peeling off anti-reflecting coating should not, of course.

Some of my JMMs (Jacques Marie Mage) are in loud colours but for those who lean toward more conservative ‘daily drivers’ you’ve got a nice selection there.

My Camel Molinos are probably my most-worn pair at the moment but of course favoritism is flexible! Camels sit perfectly on that bridge between traditional brown tort but just a bit lighter and brighter to set them apart from ‘glasses for the masses’. I used to have a pair of RB Wayfarer ‘ease’ in a light brown tort but as soon as I got the Molinos the RBs were flogged on eBay.
My only complaint about Molinos - and this goes for other models too - is that the parallel line engraving is a bit boring. I prefer the Native American / geometric patterns but I realise that for a more conservative frame they’re aiming at a less flamboyant more subdued and versatile look.

Debating between this and Taos Indigo (would change out the stock lenses of the Taos). Will purchase one tonight. Would be my first of either Taos or Evans.
I don't have the Evans, though they are a lovely frame. I do have the Indigo Taos, though, and love them. The color combination of the frame and lens on them is fantastic, though I realize they might not be for everyone. The Indigo is really nice in person. I don't find it quite as near black as some have said and when you wear them out and the sun hits them they really light up. They are just really cool frames.

I always found the Evans very attractive, but wanted to have it as sunglasses, finally got the chance.
As for the Taos, it's a great JMM classic, but it happened that I only have one, in the Dark Havana colourway, it was my first frame though.

Thank you both for your helpful comments!

not sure what to think about the daidos… thoughts?

I think they look great on you, not too oversized and not too small either.
Can I ask you for the frame width? Would you consider them oversized?

I like the Daido ones, but in the silver version (the gold version if you're feeling like Elvis)
