Nah don’t want these nowhere near as badly lol , but thank you. There's one on Ebay for 1500 bucks if you're desperate. I think this person is also part of the "iconic underground frames" group chat by the name of Nemanya. They may cut you a deal if you're a group member. They seem to have a Wolf 8 as well.
Try Replacement Lens Express. I’ve used them before, seem very reasonable. Good customer service. It looks like Zoomer stopped taking online orders for Transitions. Does anyone have a recommendation for replacement RX lenses?
How expensive is the service? I'm curious.Does anyone have any experience with JMM's refinishing service? I've had my Dealan's for about 5 years now, and wear them every day. Over time they've developed some white oxidation and are no longer glossy.
Service seems quite expensive and unsure of how "new" the frames will look once I get them back.
$130 dollars plus shipping. I'm Irish too, so chances are there'll be import taxes or fees on top of that too. And I'm unsure of how far the service goes in terms of refinishing. I.e is it just a relatively basic buff and polish that you'd get at a local opticians or is it more in depth. (Are they refurbed to a "like new" condition)How expensive is the service? I'm curious.
Not Irish but in the EU: if you send them your glasses be sure to keep a copy of the export form. Recently I sent back a MTO jacket for alterations and had to pay customs twice because I was dumb and didn’t keep the export form.$130 dollars plus shipping. Nope. Despite my plea I didn’t get an update before the weekend. I doubt I’ll ever get them but if I do it’ll be a nice surprise.
Literally a few mins ago two things happened, in this order:Did JMM update you on your Wolf 21 order?
The buzz on one of the FB groups today is that JMM might still fulfill your Wolf 21 order. Apparently only the first allotment of frames were sent out, but they are still planning to fulfill the remaining orders when the next batches arrive (ETA unknown).
It's a little odd that they wouldn't have all 50 frames ready to go. It's not like there's 500. I wouldn't be surprised to find out they're replacing some defective temples.Literally a few mins ago two things happened, in this order:
- my bank account got a new charge for €920 from JMM
- got a reply from JMM support saying what you say in your message above, they’re waiting for the last remaining units to fulfill the orders
So there’s still hope I guess.
Thought about that yes. Either way, I don’t mind the longer wait if I end up receiving them. It's a little odd that they wouldn't have all 50 frames ready to go. It's not like there's 500. I wouldn't be surprised to find out they're replacing some defective temples.
I think I mentioned this in a previous message, but I have zero complaints in my interactions with their support team… they couldn’t have been nicer. I however noted that response times have increased and it’s only the same couple of people responding to my emails, whereas I’d say most here would agree that the business has been growing. So it’s on Jerome or whoever is running the company to hire more people. It should be much easier (and cheaper) to expand customer service than production.I had a wierd experience with some Shibusawas that I ordered, I won’t bore you with the details but it actually worked out in the end, so fingers crossed.
i think the JMM machine is still relatively small, and that they are dealing with hand made/finished goods…. Stuff goes a little awry sometimes. I realise its a bit hard to cut them some slack when their goods are so expensive, but IME their customer service is pretty good.

I've no doubt they peruse this forum, just as they do with the FB groups.Right on! Very interesting timing too! I suspect the JMM employee(s) lurking on this forum may have also tipped the scales lol 👀
