Anyone in Orange County want to go into the Costa Mesa store and get a picture of the local Costa Mesa colorway? The Zephirin was released in that and in Palisades recently but I haven't seen pics of either one.

As far as I've heard from a dealer, it's totally new (and more 80s styled). Some people on FB believe Brad Pitt is wearing them in the Cortina-styled GQ shoot that debuted yesterday (in the bike photo specifically).

Maybe this the new Scarface? Looks pretty cool to me, especially with the lighter lens tint

I could be wrong, but my impression is that it is these. I have no insight, just what I’ve read on a FB forum.

When does Brad plan to start looking human like the rest of us? He’s 60!

I had a question regarding stores: there’s one like one minute away from where I live (same street) that carries JMM. When I wanted the Noir X Enzos I went there and said, “I want this colourway, which I know you don’t carry, but you have other colourways that I can try on and then you can order the Noir X for me?”. Then I did try the Enzos and saw they were big on me but not ridiculously so, and asked them of they could get the Noir X. After a few days of silence they said they couldn’t do that so I ended up ordering from the official site.

My thinking is that they get the glasses for cheaper than a regular customer, and then they take a cut, and I pay the same as if I ordered from the website, it takes a while longer to get to me but in exchange I get a place very close to me where I can try new frames. But maybe I’m wrong? I’ve no idea how these things work, maybe they can’t pick an choose what models to get from the brand, and that’s why they end up with marshmallows and glaciers?

I don’t want to be the asshole that goes there, tries things on and then orders from elsewhere.

Thinking that all models and colors are limited (even the less limited is 650 units) models and colors are assigned to official JMM galleries and AD's around the world.
If you also consider that some models/colors are more limited (around 150-200 units) and there's more than 200 AD's for some colors it's impossible to order after they were released.
Of course some opticians here in Europe are bigger (or because they work a lot with e-commerce or because they have several stores) and the chances they have this color more limited is higher.

I can give you the example of Sandro in Lapis (150 units). I was struggling to find it online and I went to the only AD in my city, Barcelona, which is Optica Toscana (which has 4 different stores through Spain) and asked if they could order for me. They said they didn't receive any and it was impossible to order.
