IME=in my experience. Do you not see that your position on the matter of older generation vs. younger might equate directly to that of celebs vs. common folk in your argument? Maybe the celebs are just wearing JMM to snub you, since you have deemed them to be unworthy?
I can see why you would say that. I really do. The big difference here is that celebrities have wealth, power, and privilege. I do not. I’m just a regular feller who found this brand before those ninnies jumped on the bandwagon. They are insincere. I’m here everyday doing the heavy lifting and work of being a fan. They don’t. They simply have a servant buy their frames and take credit for being creative and stylish. NOT OK!

I absolutely love this colorway.
Really enjoy the squareness/boldness of the frame. They are a bit more wide, as far as fitment compared to the Anita’s (best fitting model I own). I’m not sure this is the case that would’ve originally came with the glasses (Last frontier possibly?). It was an added bonus that wasn’t listed.

That's the right case, I have these exact same frames.

I was on holiday back in England recently. Agonised over which ones to take for the two week trip and ended up choosing black LF Rawlins, Vesper (red and blue) Dealans and Leisure Society Cortez in pewter-coloured titanium which went well with the silver grey nailhead suit I wore to my niece’s wedding.

Despite the very long days of daylight there at this time of year it was cold and cloudy most of the time so I didn’t need any more pairs.

Just curious for anyone else who has Rawlins - there was someone with two pairs on here recently - is it just mine or do others have issues with folding the arms flat? Due to the thickness of the arm acetate and the camber mine are a long way from being able to fold flat. This does not happen with any of my 11 other chunky acetate JMMs. Anyone else or just me? I took them to my local dealer some time ago and they did a slight adjustment curving them a bit but it didn’t really make much difference to folding them flat.

See pics - got a nice 3 slot travelling case off Amazon.

This is about as tight as I can close the arms …

Question for Earl owners: how much do they weigh? Asked JMM and they won’t give me an estimate since they say it varies as a handmade piece…

I don’t have that data, but I can tell you that subjectively they are very light, being that they are titanium.

They are heavier than I expected, likely because the eyerim inserts. It's titanium, which is light, but it's a lot of titanium. They're heavier than the GT and 1980. I have a relatively narrow nose, so I had to get the nosepads just right to keep them from sliding down. I still love them though. Just be aware that when the arms are folded, the faceplate will scuff up the arms where they make contact. I strategically place the cleaning cloth to avoid this.

found Cash in Havana... but it doesn't seem to be an official color
Maybe it's a new release that hasn't been promoted yet or an exclusive for the store?!
