Oof, I would never put my Rawlins in my pocket lol. Too afraid to scratch or otherwise damage them. Face or case, that's it.
Bingo. Face or case for all glasses! Where is bulletin board user regisDB9? Regis! Face or case, not face or ocean!

Greetings, I am trying to Import 2 pair of Jacques Marie Mage, 3 pair of Cazal and 1 pair Cartier sunglasses from Japan into the States. I've run into Problems at customs and they want the Drop ball test, FDA Exporter Registration Number, FDA Device foreign exporter registration number, FDA Listing Number. I think I'll be able to obtain the Drop Ball Certificates, I've just emailed JMM asking for it. But honestly I am unsure about what the other catagories even are. I've attached 2 pictures showing the email and form I received. Any help is seriously appreciated as this is an expensive package. Thank you so much.

Dang. Sorry, but I have no clue about such issues. Sounds like .gov has the border locked down pretty tight for eyeglasses. Probably a good thing…having eyeglasses flood across the border would be a dangerous scenario. I hope you are able to straighten this out. When you do, would you mind letting us know? I’m curious to know how to handle things like this.

There’s a new Yves frame too, in Breccia. Looks pretty nice.

Also what do y’all do when you scuff up your acetate frames? I had a pair get knocked off my head while helping a friend move and they landed on the sidewalk. The lenses were fine but there’s now a couple small rough spots on the frame.

You can try to polish the acetate with Poliwatch, or to have the frame brushed by an optician.

Sad to say they’re basically Ray-Bans now

I put the ocean water in the case with the sunglasses. Life hack to keep them cool on hot days 😎

I remember someone in this chat once said, “the search for the frames is the thrill.” I’m happy to say it feels great to finally get my hands on a pair of Molino 55 in Black Fade! I’ll be turning them into RX frames !!

3 oxidation mentions (on new pairs!) in the last few hours on FB chat.

ps. I just got DHL delivery for my new pair with exposed wire. Now I'm bummed to open it lol. Or to diss exposed-wire frames alltogether. How hard is it to put acetate over the arms to stop this from happening. Jerome's ego will sink this brand (maybe for the better)

Perhaps it’s the Australian climate, or the silica boxes I place within my wardrobe, or the dehumidifier I run periodically to protect my clothing and expensive belongings, but this is Agar after almost 3 years.

I think it's more a matter of luck. What is certain is that at JMM they should improve their quality control: it's extremely bothersome to have such issues on these luxury items.
