Such a lovely subtle shade of grey. The arrowhead silver pins were more heavily oxidised, so that I had to use Cape Cod.
love these. I own #389 but replaced the lenses with a jet black. One of my most worn pairs.

I got denied by costco recently trying to put lenses into some Torino bc apparently they don't work with thick acetate anymore. I was about to put some in my Vascos, but I realized a blue gradient lens would work better.

I guess I have to go to one of the online places, or maybe try somewhere in NYC, hopefully inexpensive.
I would never use Costco for jmm frames (I’d use jmm dealers only but would consider an optical shop I trusted). That said, “we don’t work with thick acetate” is maybe one of the weirder excuses as lenses have nothing to do with the thickness of the acetate. If anything, they would be less likely to break thick acetate so they should actually be more cautious with ultra thin acetate.

That’s a load of friggin bull crap! I’ve purchased from them, and I’ve never even hear of these private sales! It’s not right that some people get the sale and others don’t! What a bunch of dog face pony soldiers! I’m done with those jerks!

Alright folks, I'm looking to add a titanium frame to my collection and was hoping to get some feedback! I tried on a ton and so many just didn't work.. (sorry Earl, I really really wanted it to work out!).

I've basically brought it down to:
* Atkins - Burgundy
* Apollinaire - Maple (or Cerise, not pictured)
* Marbot - Rose Gold

Thanks!

While they all look OK on you, none of them really do it for me. Then, again, am not really into essentially wire rims.

I bought another pair of Dealans with the discount and I have checked others and it's still live. Not sure why you can't see if you received the invite.
