Perhaps I should have known that - I only own four Dealans with one more on the way. I have a six slot case and will be agonising over what to fill that final slot with. Waiting for a colour that will really hit the spot but then what if ANOTHER great colour comes after that? I’ll be like Sheldon agonising over which super hero membership card to ditch once all the slots on his wallet were filled 😁😁

Maybe it’s good to always have one unfilled slot like the siege perilous at King Arthur’s round table!

Mission accomplished!

Took a lot of time and effort, but the grind was worth it. Grail secured.

It's incredible how some frame in a particular colourway becomes a grail. It was not a love at the first sight for me, but the Sand colouway is absolutely gorgeous.

Agreed! My first Ichikawa was argyle and it fit my face very well. Then I found an Ichikawa in beige that I ordered online and when it arrived at the store, even the store associates were surprised at how well the frame and colorway combo fit me. Next was Ichikawa in black. Finally, I was curious about the sand colorway and went to a nearby authorized dealer, who happened to have the new Enzo in sand, a week before being released publicly. When I tried the color and saw how well the sand color looked on me, the Ichikawa in Sand became a personal grail.

It took a few weeks to track one down in the wild, since they had allegedly all sold out a year ago, but I finally managed to source one from Europe!

Does anyone know much about JMM's Japan exclusive releases? Or any other high end glasses brands that are made in Japan / exclusive to Japan?

Later this month I'll be in Tokyo for about a day and mostly plan on shopping. If the JMM exclusives or other brands are worth looking into then I might stop by an optical shop as well.
