Anyone got a tip for those Dealans in dark red / vermillion?

My search just turns up a Spanish dealer but their website won’t allow a sale / delivery to the US and I’d probably get hit with import duties too.

Many pages ago someone mentioned a pair in Australia somewhere IIRC??

Any help the drinks are on me! Cheers!

I know I’m on a jmm boycott but I forgot to cancel this preorder (but am sending these back regardless). That said, if I wasn’t going to send them back…. Like the colors but the net result definitely has a strong Fourth of July vibe

I already said I don't like that colouway, but the frame suits you perfectly.

I love the Kobo, I have it in Noir and Rootbeer, but this Black Fade (picture Facebook) is probably the best version.

This is a very good fit in my eyes and it shows that you don't need to have a very large head to pull off some wide frames.
This feller has some serious style moves. When I was a young whipper snapper, I should’ve been more sartorial as they say.

Definitely. I don't like each of his outfits, but some are remarkable. By the way, if he owns all the models he shows, most probably he has the biggest collection in the world.

I think he's stated somewhere in his FB post that the count is around 200 JMM frames.
Ding dang! 200 frames? What in the heck?! With current prices and assuming some more expensive titanium and LF (Last Frontier) frames that is at least 175,000 simoleons! Say again: $175,000. Absolute insanity, with all my respect. Jack the Jerk should give that feller a special one-of-one frame for being the number one collectors.

What's funny is said man has been hounding for a 1:1 Ascari that was very specially made for a fundraiser if memory serves me correct. I think it haunts him day in and out that he can't/may never acquire it. He's addicted in the truest sense.

One of the very few times I’ve seen JMMs in the flesh I was in Phipps plaza mall in Atlanta getting my one and only pair of LFs and a lad came in wearing LFs as opticals and went behind the counter to talk to the manager. He came out with another pair of LFs. He might not have the collection of that Facebook fanboi upthread but still a serious collector. The lass who was serving me says he’s in all the time and gets just about every pair of LFs as soon as they have them in stock.

Yeah this right here. have to agree with this statement 100%
My thoughts for what it’s worth(not a lot).

when the brand was small(er) there was a ‘mystique’ about it, retro styling, Japanese artesnal cratfsmanship. A community of enthusiasts, that made us feel we were onto something special, maybe I’m over romanticising a company that makes luxury glasses….. but with this dick move, I feel its all a little bit corporate, a little mainstream and tbh a little bit of the enthusiasm has died( that and a few other dick moves).
I’ll get over it and J won’t feel a thing, it’s just a shame it goes like this really…
