Do we have any real live pics of guys with Thundercloud being worn? Besides Celebrities haha.

I’m really wanting to add another LF piece after Sterett

Found some pictures.

I am Easily “Sleazily” Amused…

Vasco in Pisces. These titanium frames are actually substantial, you feel the weight when you wear them. As with JMMs, lots of cool details like a polished glossy exterior and matte interior.

This is definitely a frame that that does not go with everything.

I’m a bit on the fence. If I keep it, I may put gray polarized, or take a chance with purple gradients. What say my fellow JMM aficionados?

They’re fine. You look good in them but I don’t love the frame and I think you could do better for the vibe.

I think the glasses have a more laid back beachy vibe to them. They work OK in the first pic, but I don't like them with the sportscoats at all.

For anyone curious about the whole JMM-DHL ordeal from a couple of pages back, DHL contacted me again saying that the glasses hadn’t been destroyed in the end, and that they could deliver them to me if I wanted, to which I said yes as I found really hard to believe JMM wanted to destroy them. I got them today. JMM customer service (Steven O.) has been really nice and kindly accepted to make an exception (I’m not in the US) and allow me to return them for a refund.

Re. the Belize, I find those ginormous in every pic I’ve seen. Like, almost comically large, I think those would look big even on Shaq. Maybe it’s just that I need to adjust to large glasses in men as I like the oversized ones in women, although those usually wrap around whereas most JMM have a pretty flat front so when they’re big they end up looking like Kitt in super pursuit mode.

Those Vascos are kind of meh to meI think you can do better.

Finally, I really wish the Hemmings were smaller, I really like the retro look of the teak colourway (which looks just like hickory in pics), I wear a lot of beiges and they’d look great.

I recently got vascos as well and sent them back. I thought they were going to be perfect on me but they ended up being way less than exciting. Super let down

I appreciate the input, gents. Well, I returned them. I think ultimately I didn't connect enough to the Vasco to keep (I had them for two days).

I love them in all the pics.

Where did you get that blue (linen?) coat by the way? That's lovely.

Thank you. It is from Ring Jacket; it's a Vitale Barbaris Canonico wool-silk-linen cloth (if you're into that stuff ;) ). I purchased it online directly from Ring Jacket's Japanese store in 2019. (This was the first piece of tailoring I got after my shoulder surgery in May '19; plenty of incentive to work hard on my physical therapy for recovery so I could wear this beauty ASAP!).

Thanks. Interesting POV. I actually thought the Vasco worked better with the jackets than the polo, and thought it was a bit constraining by this lack versatility (my perception).

Thanks and agree, I didn't love the frame either. The Jaggers that I have are a better overall personal vibe, more versatile with my wardrobe, and were instant connections for me. Ultimately, I have to trust my smile...

Funny you mentioned Jaggers, forgot you had those and was gonna say they would be my pick for same feel but better.

Personally, I love how the Vasco fits and suits you (well, difficult to find a frame that doesn't look good on you), and I find a pity that you returned it.
I also love your jackets, but think that for a proper look you should wear a shirt, either with a camp collar or with a big collar and a tie, very 70s. Interestingly the frame works well also in the first casual look.

I would also like the Hemmings a little smaller, or a smaller size optional, something like the opposite what happened for Dealan and Molino, that had an increased optional size.

By the way, you could try the Ascari, different of course, but also with something in common.

I don’t believe that I have ever seen you in a single frame that was unflattering on you; in fact, I don’t believe I have ever seen you in a pair of frames that didn’t aesthetically benefit from resting on your well chiseled mug.

You may not like every frame you try on, but what a nice problem to have, you get to choose from it all.

I too will give a nod to that handsome jacket.
