I'm really getting annoyed by the shirt/jacket length issue.

I like to show a little shirt cuff. Most of my suit jackets produced the same results with this shirt. So...jacket too long or shirt too short?

The second part of my question is how do I get rid of that weird looking shoulder? It looks like the top of the shoulder extends too far. Any input is appreciated.

Have you gone to tailors and asked about getting the jacket sleeves shortened? Or are you just buying stuff off the rack and trying to find one that naturally shows cuff?

Looks like its too big overall to me. Try a size smaller.

I've had it alrered already, I am just wondering if the jacket sleeve looks too long or if I should be going with a longer shirt. The shirt sits right at the start of my palm and it pulls up if I extend my ams in a 'zombie like' manner.

Oh wow, those sleeves must have been really long if they were already altered. Everything else on the jacket fits ok? It could just be an issue of trying one size down. If you're a 40r, see how the 40s fits, etc.

Aside from that? Maybe look for jackets with unfinished sleeves?

Well, your jacket sleeves are sitting where the shirt sleeves should, so... it's the jacket. Pretty easy to reason out; if the shirt sleeves were longer than the jacket sleeves they would be too far down your hand.

As Hobb said, the jacket itself looks a bit too large for you. Look at the shoulders.

The sleeves are too long and it's a size too big, the shoulders are too wide and the bottom of the jacket extends to your thumbnail which is longer than the norm.

I'm stuck with the jacket. I'm going to have the sleeves shortened and see what the tailor can do about the rest of it

What a skilled tailor can do about "the rest" will likely be expensive. I just spent $200 on some shoulder work. It was only worth it because I got a nice jacket at a great price.

Here is a different jacket and different shirt. This shirt is a 34/35 as opposed to the first pic which is a 32/33.

First 2 pics are using the outer cuff button:

These 2 are using the tighter cuff button:

Tuck your shirt in and have someone take your pic with you in the "Robo-Pose". The shoulders look too wide on the jacket anyway.

Have someone take some decent photographs with you wearing suit and shirt properly, then ask the questions.
