Jacket Style Critique

Hi, I'm getting measured up for a bespoke suit this Friday (it will be my wedding suit) and am looking for opinions on a few elements of the jacket. I tried on a few jackets on the weekend to get an idea of what I like, and found two jackets that I liked that were quite similar, however quite different at the same time. Disregarding colour, which jacket looks better? Note that the jacket descriptions are relative to each other, and not to any standard. Jacket 1: Open quarters, higher button stance, wider lapel, larger notch angle, shorter collar edge where it meets the lapel Jacket 2: Closed quarters, lower button stance, narrower lapel, smaller notch angle, longer collar edge where it meets the lapel Thanks, Knighty

This is a conversation to have with your tailor, who will have his own ideas. Ask him questions, don't say "some guy from New Jersey told me online that I should wear a wide lapel and a low button stance."

Thanks for your input YRP92. Yes I will be discussing every aspect of the suit with my tailor, and wont be referencing anyones opinions. I have my own opinion on which look I prefer, however I think it may have been swayed by the price difference and difference in material quality, so I thought it would be fun to see what others think.

May I ask what brand of jackets those are?

The top jacket is perhaps a little more classically styled, more timeless. However, both jackets are much too short.
