I much prefer number two. Not crazy about the epaulets or the sleeve strap things, but still much better looking than #1.

no, i dont. i dont like jackets as long as those. but if you had to get 1, it would have to be the first one. it looks much more, "casual," then the secoond one, like something you can wear with jeans to go out for drinks. the second one looks like something you have to wear with a suit, like if you were attending a funeral in the snow... not the kind of image i'd like to project.

The second one is better than the first but they both look pretty bad to me. Look at those huge front pockets just sitting on the outside of the second one, and I just don't like the neckline on either of them very much...

Yeah, I cannot imagine either being easy to wear, mainly because the length means that both coats will engulf anything else you add to the outfit. The first jacket has this weird Sweeney Todd distressed vibe, which might have worked if it were smaller but not with such a large expanse of fabric. The second one is more wearable, but only slightly, because it demands formality with its structured shape and length but then gives us effing epaulets. It's like it wants to be formal but can't let go of its military past. Blah.

Listen to this man(Arethusa, that is).

Edit: the Braidkid / Whodini resemblance is eerie. Extremely eerie.

I like #2 better but I'm not a fan of the front pockets or epaulettes. I think you can find a better jacket.
