Is this something I can do on my own or do I need a tailor to do it? Thanks.

Carefully snip a few of the stitches, and then you should be able to gently pull the pocket open. Or, just snip all the stitches, if you want to be super-careful. It's really quite easy.

Buy a stitch ripper. They are a couple of dollars at your local fabric store.

Somehow, I never open the pockets on my suits. Prevents me from stuffing various daylife items there and thus putting the garnment out of shape. And I never wear a pocket square anyway ... [IMG] Luc
