jacket alteration question..

    Is it ever possible to get a jacket shortened vertical ways just an inch or two? I hope this makes sense..thank you.

    It is possible (not that hard, really) but often not desireble because it throws off the balance and proportion of the jacket.

    Jackets can be shortened but I would suggest that you do not exceed one inch. As for patch pocket jackets, never. [​IMG]

    I've had it done on a couple jackets. It's generally not good to do more than an inch as has been said, as it'll make the rest of the jacket a bit "off." Each jacket should be considered separately though, depending on its existing pockets and button placement.
