Jack Victor Blazer

Does anyone know how Jack Victor blazers are cut? (Athletic or Full). I have been looking for a DB black blazer which are a bit difficult to find. They do seem to offer one but I am not familiar with their clothing or cuts.

I am of a slim build and usually wear athletic or european cut jackets.

Are there any other places to look for this style and color blazer?

I only own one JV sport coat, a single-breasted model I bought about four years ago, but I found it to be a fuller cut.

I do own a cashmere sportcoat and a navy two piece suit by Jack Victor. Although the quality is very decent for the price I paid, they tend to be fuller cuts than others as above mentioned.
The armholes are very low on them and it is very difficult to raise your arms higher than 90 degrees when jacket is buttoned.

I don't own a JV sportscoat, but a suit......and FWIW, I echo the earlier sentiments that it's quite full-cut.

Perhaps tangential, but this seems like an appropriate place to ask ... what would you wear with a black DB blazer? I recently picked one up in a thrift store -- the fit was great and the price was low -- but I'm not really sure what to do with it, apart from charcoal flannel trousers (which look a bit too conservative).

Ideas anyone?

Regarding color, I probably wouldn't select charcoal as my first choice; I'd go with lighter shades of gray or olive.....or maybe tan/khaki.

BTW, remember that black is generally considered a neutral color, that gives you a fair amount of leeway.
