I'd be interested in what people get - or just what J Press says if someone contacted them asking about this. I have a feeilng that this is a thing instigated by the Japanese ownership, so it really might be possible to get awesome stuff.
That said, I wouldn't do it if you're a super-common size - simply because they can't give you awesome stuff if they don't have it in store. Also wouldn't do it if you're not into trad stuff at all, but I suppose that goes without saying.

When I had a huge retail store we used to do a similar promotion with ties at the end of the season. It was called "Bag O'Ties" and we would put a dozen ties in a bag for a set amount of money depending upon the brand. We would include at least 4 decent ties, then the rest, well let's just say some of the bags you could here barking from, but it was fun and our clients loved it.
