Dear Styleforum readers,

We are a family-owned business launched in 1925 in Paris by our great-grandfather, Jacques Hopenstand. He used to meet with his customers who cared about details and looked for unique products to enhance their elegant attire. Alligator handbags, python travel bags, buckskin or smooth leather belts… His client’s imagination had no limits, as did his savoir-faire.

After working for nearly 50 years in close collaboration with many fashion houses and fulfilling the dreams of the greatest Parisian palaces’ particular clientele closed his workshops and retired on the banks of Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

This is how we decided to revive the Maison in 2015 by offering a line of small leather goods, fully customisable online. The idea is to bring together a traditional French and Swiss crafts production with a very contemporary sales system by selling exclusively online.

Our emblematic product is the reversible belt that is fully customisable. From the leather on each side to the buckle and colour of the stitchings, you can choose each element of the product you wish.

We have extended our offer to other small leather goods, as well as various accessories following our philosophy, and we fulfill on command our customers’ smallest desires in terms of leather goods.

Please do not hesitate to visit our website to discover our full range and I will be pleased to answer your questions about our creations or about leather in general.

Looking forward to hear from you,

Rémi

Hi Remi, just received the cardholder and it is beautiful. What is the best product to use to condition it and for maintenance? I was going to buy the saphir leather lotion but thought it better to ask you what you recommend?

Hi Nathan,

thank you for your kind message, we are very glad you like it :)

yes the saphir leather lotion is perfect, the médaille d’or one is always slightly better but there is not much difference. The most important thing is to use very little of it at a time.

let me know if I can be of any further assistance and I hope it will follow you for the years to come.

Warm regards,
Remi
