Pre-order for the Chelsea & Jodhpur models looks excellent! Really good value too. Got my eye on a couple.

I really like those Chelsea boots up for preorder.

Justin, are they closed channel soles with nails protecting the toes? Also, is the indented toe tap option a steal toe tap? Finally, do they run true to size? Thanks for the help.

    @clee1982 :

    MGF Sharp Chisel Last
"This last is probably our most generous last in terms of width and room in the Toe Box"

    http://blog.jfitzpatrickfootwear.com/2017/06/the-mgf-last-a-sharp-chisel/

    @beargonefishing :

As seen in the picture I attached, there are no nails for protection, but I must say that nails don't do much to the tip itself, so steel or rubber taps would be a better solution anyways. Justin's toe taps are indeed indented. The shoes do run true to size, but I've found that some people might find the toe box a bit narrow. The plus side is that the leather is soft and less structured/rigid, so they are easy to break in.

Hubba Hubba! Now I gotta decide - dark brown suede, or copper museum calf Alki chelseas...

Anyone here have experience with either colors?

LPB and MGF lasts, the chisel ones basically, then TMG, the JKF, then NGT and SEA

The chelseas are mainly on a city rubber sole which are not closed channel but extremely durable. The leather sole options are closed channels and I always recommend adding toe taps. The NGT runs on the snug side. But not overly. It is a hugging last. But depending on who you wear, I would probably stick with same size

For those of you that might of missed it:

We are excited to announce we are holding a Pre-Sale of our new Wholecut Chelsea Boot- The Alki and some more colours in the popular Jodhpur Boot- The Genesee.

    The Alki:

A Chelsea Boot has always been something we wanted to do in our collection and we now finally have a pattern we are really happy with. The Chelsea Boot is a classic and we wanted to offer something slightly different from the ‘norm’. Firstly this is a wholecut which is not commonly found in ready to wear., especially at this price point! This gives the whole boot a much more elegant look and aesthetically is very clean and sharp. Another difference is the pattern of the elastic which we designed to almost resemble a Cola Bottle. We are sticking with the NGT last for the Alki as we feel on our Boots this last works best.

    Options for the Pre-Sale are:

Black Calf with single leather Sole
Plum Museum Calf with single leather sole
Dark Brown Museum Calf with double city rubber sole
Copper Museum Calf with double city rubber sole
Tan Soft grain with double city rubber sole
Dark Brown Suede with double city rubber sole.

    j-fitzpatrick-footwear-collection-7-june-2017-hero-0652.jpg

    The Genesee:

The Jodhpur Boot was first launched into our collection 1 year ago and since then we have had many clients asking for alternative colours. We have also taken much inspiration from the numerous different MTOs that have been created on this model. Designing the straps to be slightly different than your typical Jodhpur boot, we felt that having them only tie around the back of your leg, as opposed to wrapping completely around, not only made for a more elegant look but also for a more comfortable feel.

All Options in the Pre-Sale are with the Double Leather Sole and on the NGT last:

    Black Calf
    Burgundy Calf
    Dark Brown Museum Calf
    Navy Museum Calf
    Walnut Museum Calf

As with most Pre-Sales we endeavor to offer something extra and this time we are offering 20% OFF!

Although it’s currently Summer and the last thing you probably need is a Boot, remember that these Boots will take upto 4 months to be made which will be perfect timing to showcase a new pair of boots for the Autumn/Winter season.

Pre-Sale commences today 09th June and will finish on 26th June at 8am, GMT.

*Orders to be placed on Monday 3rd July and will take upto 4 months from this date, not date of order.*

We are really excited about this launch and hope you find something that excites you too!

If you have any questions please just ask via email: [email protected]

    Have a great weekend!

    1. 3 leather/suede belts for £200 (£166.67 ex vat). Full price is £85 per belt, so this is a savings of £55, which is nearly a free belt

    2. 3 braided belts for £110 (£91.67 ex vat). Full price £45 per belt, so this is a savings of £25.
