How is the fit on these pants?

Is the taper as extreme as others have made it out to be?

I'm 5'11 180lb with a muscular build, normally wear 32 x 32, will the taper turn my legs into snow cones or will there be enough room?

*I know I should try on to find out for myself but I can only order online right now so I appreciate everyones opinion.

We have very similar measurements and build, but I sized 31x32. You should be fine, with a 32x32.. more than enough room.. I only sized down one for a slimmer fit.

Thanks for your help Blazen, I heard the taper might be really extreme. Do you get any material hugging your calves or causing uncomfort anywhere due to the taper?

Go to jcrew.com and chat with one of their reps. They have measurements.

I just picked up a pair in Size 31. I'm a 150 lbs and I dont' think they're slim at all, in fact I woudln't even consider them slim fit.

I think maybe you're confusing the Urban Slim with the 484 fit? 484 is the slimmest with the most taper.
