I've e.mailed J. CREW (<[email protected]>) a couple of times to ask for actual measurements of a jacket and a Chambray Shirt both in Size Large. No reply as yet?

Will J. CREW give measurements via email enquiry or will I need to phone one of the stores?

I live in the UK and one of the items is Sale so I need to be 100% certain the size/fit is going to be good.

I'm usually a Large/42 16.5 collar.

I'm 5,10" tall and weigh 185 lbs.

Advice is welcome.

thanks that worked.

the shirt sounds large in the chest:

"The vintage chambray workshirt, item 84018, has a chest measurement of
48", a waist measurement of 45.5", across the shoulder measurement of
19.5", sleeve length from shoulder measurement of 26.25", sleeve length
from center back measurement of 36", and center back measurement of
30.5'"."

anyone have experience with this garment? should I go down a size?
