Marginal costs are probably minimal (labor and material costs especially). J Crew has to cover its fixed costs though, and that's where the $20 price tag comes in.

I hope this initiative isn't in any kind of legal limbo over one of the disgruntled partners.

this.

I was waiting for a coupon to KOP the 67' 505's... I checked the sale (not every page) but saw none of the collab items at all. I wonder if they're sending those items to the flagships and liquor store locations, and pulling them from O/L to keep from having to discount them as deeply.

They're running a 20% off coupon right now that applies to the whole site, not just to the sale section. Every time they do this, they remove the collabs. from the site.

I haven't seen those, but I recently picked up a pair of Our Legacy's Organic white jeans, which are a similar color. I like wheat/off white jeans, much easier to pull off than bright white.

Thats what I figured. But why remove those completely, instead of just saying X Y Z aren't included in sale. Now people that want to buy that stuff have to wait until the sale is over.

Sorry if this is common knowledge but do they only sell XS on the website? If I call a store looking for an XS in something that has ran out on the website is there any chance I might find it?

They sell XS's in stores a lot more now, and there is a chance....but very slim chance.

I think you can call J.Crew ask them to call stores around your area, and they will try and locate the item and size you are looking for and ship it to the nearest store.

J.Crew really has some of the most amazing coustomer service I know of.

If you know exactly what you're looking for, call 1.877.280.2718, which is the item search hotline. They'll run a search on all their retail stores nation-wide (which takes a day or two) and ship you the item if they find it. If you're lucky, it might even be on sale wherever they end up finding it.

I've actually been considering the nailhead utility shirt. Looks pretty decent. Saw it in the store.

I am also considering one or two washed ginghams. A guy can never have too much gingham.

some new items online; few madras shirts and the utility jacket.

*edit

Haha, did they drop hillside only to completely rip them off? Or are Hillside working for Jcrew now? (looking at all the chambray scarves and pocket squares)
