Thats what I was talking about.

Wow. I will take this over the red chambray. The first item I love from this season.

Funny they say it fits slim, but the post said it was too big...

Well im sure its slim fit, I wear Smalls (and a few extra smalls) in their Secret Wash shirts.

This fit bigger then their secret wash shirts, it fit in my opinion like their flannel shirts from this winter. Which ran half a size bigger in my opinion.

But anyway the material on the Nailhead Oxford was very amazing. J.Crew is just killing it this season.

Anyone tried on the madras shirts yet? I'm in between XS and S in Secret Wash shirts (or at least the few I've tried), but XS utility shirts (chambray, etc.) fit me perfectly. Guessing from the pics that the madras fit like Secret Wash, though [IMG]

Was in a NYC store today. They had some new stuff, including new madras / spring flannel shirts, some new sweaters, the Levis jeans, etc.

I actually picked up the Levis 501 Jeans in a dark "salt soaked" wash (basically dark all the way through, raw looking). I doubt these are raw jeans, but they probably fade well. I needed a pair to alternate with my raw selvege. These look good, fit like 501s, I'll let you know how they go. Says "made for J Crew" on the inside of the jeans.

    Here they are

Interesting commentary on the sizing for it (they say to size up 1 from the normal j Crew size; I don't have any of their jean). The jeans are a bit tight in my normal size, but I bought em like that

    1) To account for stretch
    2) To encourage myself to lose a few lbs

This is also cool, but I am done with J Crew sweaters. Never again.

I've been thinking the same thing. Mine are all a bit rubbish: stretched out and pilling maddly.

I bought a grey sweater from Gap a few weeks before some of the ones I purchased at J Crew and it's held up infinitely better! I'm indeed surprised.

Do you know how these differ from a pair of LVC jeans?

I was wondering what everyone thought about J. Crew's denim (non-Levis). I haven't seen much mentioned about it. A friend of mine bought a bair of straight fits that he really likes. I was thinking of getting a pair but wanted to see what you guys thought about the quality, fit, etc. Anybody have a pair of their jeans?

I almost ordered that last night, but the bad things I've heard about J Crew sweaters held me back.
