Ill have to try some on. Problem is most j crews stock is so limited/ different. Especially in mens.

their cotton stuff seems to stretch out a lot. I also wouldn't buy that sweater anyway because it's ugly.

^I think the sweater looks OK and is cut like a track jacket. If you like just buy it.

I think you can do better than that sweater. I'm sort of with Teger on this one.

I have been trying to find a nice, large-gauge knit grey buttonup shawl collar cardigan that isn't cashmere. Engineered Garments makes a good one but they always sell out really quickly. I dunno, I figure either way I am still a long way off from finding anything I really like. What I am really interested in finding out is the differences in their sweater materials. They have Cashmere, Cotton-Cashmere, Wool, Cotton-Wool, Linen, Cotton-Linen, Cotton, etc. I figured I could always settle on a thin layering cardigan, but my main concern with the thinner sweaters is that they will lose their shape too quickly. Any insight into the different J.crew sweaters would be much appreciated.

that "giant gingham" shirt from a few pages back seems to be a big seller in stores--my local store was sold out of it. they called around a bit and were able to locate one to ship to me.

a question about ordering from the store--what's the general experience like? i put all of my info down on an order sheet, but it would have been nice to get tracking or something on the box (i realize the store couldn't have done that, but still). maybe they'll shoot me an email when it ships or something. anyone?

^I ordered from the red phone once around 4 months ago and they gave me an order number. I think you can only order full-price clothing and nothing on the sale section but the shipping is free.

I've ordered sale items and final sale items from the red phone. And received the student discount with free shipping.

Can anyway compare the J Crew urban slim fit pants to Rugby university pants? I am in serious need of some slim chino's, but I am having a hard time deciding between the two. Specifically which is slimmer? Any other differences in the fit or quality?
