1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    The Seattle store has them.

I did not try one on, but the fabric they used seemed pretty bad and was very flimsy. It's only quarter lined in the upper back and sleeves as well.

huh, thats kinda lame. how much was it?

I have the 'deck jacket' from last season in the british khaki and I love it. the utility jacket is pretty lame - short and with a super heavy zipper for some reason that really weighs it down

Just an IC: is anyone interested in the black watch wool mackinaw from last season in size M? I've worn it maybe 10 times but have no use for it in California. Retailed for $750-800 (overpriced), not sure how much I'm asking yet but probably around 300 shipped.

I'm interested, how does it fit size/measurement wise and how long is it?

Wasn't there a problem that someone reported with the hand pockets on those mackinaws? Like they were sewn improperly or something?

Yeah the hand pockets are a little tight to get in... I mostly used the vertical storage pockets in front of the hand pockets.

i have the utility jacket in navy, and i dont think its great, but its a good jacket to kick around in on the weekend. i also got it for around 70 bucks, so it was a decent value for that.

Has anyone seen the exclusive "The original" leather postal messenger bag in person. It looks beautiful, but can it bee all that? $795 is a lot of dough.

What would be the alternative? What is the "Alden" of leather bags?

I have a Millerain that I got a couple weeks before Christmas for $95. If you can get if for under $125, it's a steal. It's a great jacket with nice details.

Have unlucky make you one... I got one of his leather messenger bags for $150, untanned so it's aging really well, and it'll end up looking about 10x better than that jcrew bag in a few years, plus it's almost 5x less.
