Fit also depends a lot on your body build. You can be 6', 185, and need an XL because you've got a belly. In my case, a large works better than a medium because my shoulders are a little broad. It also depends on how you like things to fit.

5'11" 180ish

mediums seemed a bit too short for me heightwise so i went with a large, but the sleeves are just a tad too long on some of the stuff

How do people feel about J Crew tee shirts, specifically the v neck tees? Are they about on par with banana republic, GAP? Would you wear one to walk down the street on a Sunday to grab a coffee? I wear James Perse for colored tees and 2xist for white tees, but was thinking of trying J Crew. Opinions?

Thanks

If anyone's near a J. Crew outlet, they've got a lot of new spring "outlet only" stuff that's pretty cool. I got gray and navy cardigans in a medium weight jersey material with contrasting buttons and they've got a version of the dark blue chambray that's on the site but without the throat tab (which is a plus in my book). All, of course, on the cheap.

I've been waiting for the shorts and sweatshirt in this picture to come online. I see the sweatshirt in blue and natural on the site but I would like it in grey and I don't see the shorts. Does anybody know if these are in stores yet? I live in Canada so I have no direct access to stores (if they only come in stores, I'll try to get my cousin to track them down).

It's not available yet, if it even gets produced.

I've been rather disappointed at J. Crew recently, both in stores and on the website. The last holiday sale was just so amazing that everything now looks so lackluster.
